The antibodies used in this kit are specific for gamma-subunit of NSE (¿-NSE). The antibodies do not detect NSE with other subunits. The kit is designed for human NSE. Antibody crossreactivity or the use of this kit in other species (mouse, rat, etc) has not been studied.
